Eventide have just released a brand-new suite of four granular effects, delivering a powerful creative upgrade for H9000® and H90® users that’s proving to be one of the most exciting firmware updates in years!

The four new algorithms, Cosmic Web, Glitch, GrainMod, and Stutter, open the door to state-of-the-art new design tools including blooming reverse delays, glitch-driven rhythms, modulated textures, and stutter-based performance effects.

GrainMod – Three LFOs driving ever-evolving textures and playback-direction modulation.

Cosmic Web – Reverse-pitched grains, pad-like modulated space, dual delays, and freeze/infinite functions.

Glitch – Aliasing, pitched bursts, sample-rate warping, and manual glitch triggering.

Stutter – Tight or scattered rhythmic patterns with probability triggering and dynamic sensitivity.

All four granular algorithms are fully available on the H9000 Gen2 DSP, whereas Gen1 units receive only Cosmic Web and GrainMod.

Customers wanting the full suite should be directed to upgrade to H9000 Gen2 DSP.

H90 customers will have access to all four granular algorithms.
