1010music are excited to announce the arrival of blackbox 2, the next generation of 1010music’s acclaimed compact sampler.

blackbox 2 builds on the original’s reputation with a refined workflow, powerful new creative tools, and industry standard I/O, all in the same ultra-portable format producers know and trust. At the centre is a new high-resolution 4″ colour touchscreen, alongside expanded track architecture, advanced sequencing, and deep sample streaming – directly from microSD.

Designed for both studio and stage, blackbox 2 introduces battery power for truly mobile setups, USB-C host and device ports for both multichannel USB audio and MIDI, and flexible performance views including Launch, Scene, Song, Mixing, and Effects screens. From beatmakers to live performers, this is a complete sampling workstation in a compact footprint.
